Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a local sponsor?

For most commercial activities (trading) and industrial activities, you no longer need a local sponsor and can hold 100% ownership. Some professional activities may still require a Local Service Agent (LSA) who has no ownership rights.

Is an office space mandatory?

For Mainland licenses, DED regulations typically require a physical office space (minimum 200 sq ft). We can assist with virtual office solutions (Estidama) where applicable. Free Zones often include flexi-desk options.

Which Free Zone is best for my business?

It depends on your industry and budget. DMCC is popular for commodities, DIFC for finance, IFZA for cost-effectiveness. We compare options and recommend the best fit for your needs.
